After spending several months in Albania, it was time to drive back to England. We travelled through several Balkan countries, as well as Italy and France. There was so much to see and enjoy, including visiting a number of Christmas markets.

Detour through Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina
We were driving to Split from Dubrovnik and decided to take a detour to Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The drive to Mostar added about 1.5 hours on the way to Split, plus time taken to cross the border. The drive through Bosnia and Herzegovina was stunning.
